Guest Designer @ Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!

Hello friends,

Today I'm so excited to be a guest designer for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR). I found them through one of the craft groups I belong to online and fell in love with their awesome files. What I also love about them is their user-friendly website, neat files and fun design team!

I created the following projects using these files:

Candy legged Heart Guy, Lip straws, Smooches lip candy bag and the heart cow on a frame.
I love this Heart Guy, I saw this idea over Christmas and knew I had to create it sometime. What a perfect opportunity for a Valentines treat using this cutting file.
These lips were so great, perfect for some yummy Valentines cocktail.
I decided to use the Smooches title as a treat bag topper, I duplicated it, cut around the bottom of the word, and keep the top attached so that it is double sided.
I found these cute little heart tacks and I had some cork left over from my office pin board so I decided to make a little pin board and frame it with the heart cow from the 'Moovelous' cutting file collection.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I'm so happy to be able to share these fun projects with you today!

Happy Crafting,

Kids birthday cards!

Hi everyone,

My son has two birthday parties to attend this weekend and he is super excited about both of them. One party is at an indoor rock-climbing venue and the other is a Minecraft & Nerf gun at home/park party!

I have no idea what to get these boys for their birthdays so I decided on gift cards from my favourite book store - Chapters! - at least they can decide on a good book or something else from the kids section.

Here are the cards I made for them: the 8 year old likes 'My Singing Monsters' so I decided to make a pop-up card. The 9 year old likes Minecraft - I had previously made a Minecraft card for another friends birthday so I just switched out the names and moved the characters around.

The images on both were printed on photo paper and sent through the Silhouette 'print and cut' feature. The base of the pop-up card was used from SVGCuts - Hearts Aflame Box Cards template.

Thanks for reading!

Thank you Teachers!

It has been a wonderful year at my sons school and we've been lucky to have two AWESOME teachers in his class. I made these gift card boxes for them with a neat tag to thank them for making my sons first year so SPECIAL.

I used my Cameo to cut out the boxes from a SVG file from the Silhouette store and I designed the tags and cut them out on nice gold cardstock

I found a suitable font on my computer and used the sketch pens to write the wording

Inside I added a nice lip gloss from the Bath and Body Works store and a gift card from Chapters, my favourite bookstore.

Enjoy your two weeks break Mrs B and Miss P and see you in July!
