Halloween treats!

Hi Friends,

I've been so busy at home and haven't been able to post for a while but I found some time to share a quick 'Halloween treats' post with you today that I made for my son's class!

For the kids treats I used a spider and bat image from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons and a cauldron, and owl from Miss Kate Cuttables. For the teachers treat I used this file from the Silhouette Design Store which is a Lori Whitlock file and the monster title from Miss Kate Cuttables.

I also made some paper clips using jumbo clips in orange and purple and added some dotted ribbon.
I added a Halloween marshmallow chocolate bar into the envelope and sealed it with a print and cut sticker. The sticker paper I used was a very thin one from Staples.
To carry all these treats to school my son will be using his Halloween bag. I used printable transfer paper (for dark material ... seems to works better than the light version!) and used my heat press to adhere it to the bag. The image is from Studio Ilustrado and can be found in their store as well as the Silhouette Design store and is currently on SALE!
Thank you for visiting today.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Halloween class treats!

Hi everyone,

I'm a bit late in updating this to my blog but I just wanted to share the cute little treats I made for my sons class.

I used the file 'Creatures of the Night' by Too Cute by Jessica with print and cut and added the 'From Luke' underneath. The little envelopes were from Michaels and the washi tape I had in my stash. I added a Halloween pen, (also from Michaels) and 2 candy treats.

Thanks for visiting today!

I hope to see you soon for our 'Think Christmas' Blog Hop this coming Saturday (7th Nov).

Halloween Card Swap!

Hi Friends,

Today I'm sharing a card with you that I made for a Card Swap group that I joined in Canada. I love working with paper especially creating 3D projects but I'm new to making cards and not very confident when trying to get my ideas down onto paper! So joining this group challenges me to get it done!

This months theme is Halloween so after many different ideas I finally came up with the following card ... last minute changes and add ons ...

Cardstock was from my ever growing stash, the ghost image (Happy Haunting) was from Too Cute by Jessica a freebie from a recent Blog Hop on Craftin Desert Divas and the 'ribbon' text (Halloween Title Set $0.50) was from Miss Kate Cuttables. Both images were printed and I used the Silhouette print and cut feature.

I hope my card swap buddy enjoys this card!
Thank you for visiting!

Halloween with SandyPieCREATIONS @ Scrap Orchard!

Hello friends!

I'm so excited for Halloween - it's such a scary, exciting and fun time for our family! I enjoy seeing all the great costumes when the kids come to our house to Trick or Treat!

There are so many awesome Halloween creations being displayed online on the blogs and Facebook groups I follow - I really love this crafty world :-)!

Today I'm sharing my SandyPieCREATIONS Hybrid Creative Team HALLOWEEN project!

For this project I used the Witch's Hat cutting file from Sandy's store at Scrap Orchard and a Halloween acetate sheet and cardstock I had in my stash and added a tea light in the treat base section to give the hat a GLOW!

The file was easy to cut and put together and is currently on SALE!

Happy Halloween and thanks for visiting!

The free SVG file called 'Spooky Coffin' is from Dreaming Tree.

I have added a few more photos of this project at the end of the challenge info.

BOO to you!

Hi everyone,

I finally finished my BOO sign for Halloween for my front door. I used some Halloween paper I had stashed away for this fun time and got my son to help me choose some ribbon from Michaels craft store.

After cutting the paper I needed to make the letters a bit more sturdier so I raided my pantry and emptied my sons cereal boxes and cut the letters out of these ... first time I've used packaging and my Silhouette machine cut through it quite nicely. I used some free clipart (ghost and the pumpkins) which I printed on matte photo paper and added to the letters - I'm very happy with the results.

We have a glass screen door so the sign will be protected from the outside weather so hopefully it will hold up well when it turns colder outside.

Thank you for visiting me today!
Happy crafting and a early Happy Halloween!
