Halloween treats!

Hi Friends,

I've been so busy at home and haven't been able to post for a while but I found some time to share a quick 'Halloween treats' post with you today that I made for my son's class!

For the kids treats I used a spider and bat image from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons and a cauldron, and owl from Miss Kate Cuttables. For the teachers treat I used this file from the Silhouette Design Store which is a Lori Whitlock file and the monster title from Miss Kate Cuttables.

I also made some paper clips using jumbo clips in orange and purple and added some dotted ribbon.
I added a Halloween marshmallow chocolate bar into the envelope and sealed it with a print and cut sticker. The sticker paper I used was a very thin one from Staples.
To carry all these treats to school my son will be using his Halloween bag. I used printable transfer paper (for dark material ... seems to works better than the light version!) and used my heat press to adhere it to the bag. The image is from Studio Ilustrado and can be found in their store as well as the Silhouette Design store and is currently on SALE!
Thank you for visiting today.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Preparing for Christmas!

Hello Crafty Friends,

I'm back with a new Design Team project using files from a fabulous collection from Birds SVGs called Christmas Toy Shop

Today I will be sharing the Gift Bag and the Gift Tag - this set also includes the Toy Shop Scene Card and Envelope.

The Christmas Toy Shop set - Birds SVGs

I chose my patterned paper from My Mind's Eye 'Holiday Cheer' paper pad that I'd purchased from Michaels. I loved the olive green colour of the floral paper and used that for the main part of the bag.
I used a different pattern but the same olive green colour for the sides and for the outside part of the handle. I used the red version of this pattern for the shop front window.
I used some red ribbon and attached a cute little bow, some sparkly enamel dots on the one side and gave the 'snow' a touch of clear Wink of Stella for it to glisten.
With the gift tag I matched the gift bag colours and found a dark brown piece of card from my scraps to make the outer part of the bear. I added the clear Wink of Stella to the bear and the 'snow' for some sparkle. I added some foam dots to expand the shop window. I also used the same ribbon as the bow on the gift bag and attached it to the tag.
This Christmas Toy Shop file and a lot of gorgeous Christmas FREEBIES! can be found on Birds site - it's definitely worth a visit to her store. All the files are designed with love and come with great step by step video instructions and a detailed pdf file.

Thank you for visiting today!
Happy Crafting!
