Recently Bird from Birds SVGs put out a Design Team call and I am THRILLED to let you know that I am one of the lucky Designers to be chosen to join her team. You can meet the rest of the team up on Birds blog.
For my first project I used the following files from the Roses are Pink set.
I decided to go with a gold, beige and brown colour palette and put my own touch to it.
I used rose patterned paper for the oval box and the 'leaves' of the card, a gold and clear acetate sheet for the card envelope and a mixture of patterned beige and brown paper for the rest of the designs. I added a bit of subtle 'bling' using some sparkly enamel dots.
And finally I was going to add some candy to the box but I ended up making some coconut sugar cookies and thought they'd be perfect to go in the box to give to my neighbour!
(We are enjoying the left over cookies too ... yum!)
I'm thinking this would be a great hostess gift for any occasion - so quick and easy to put together!
If you haven't already visited Birds site it's definitely worthwhile - she has created beautiful themed collections and also has some fabulous freebies too if you'd like to try before you buy. You can mix and match her files to suit your theme.
Thank you for visiting today!
Happy Crafting!

I love your box and card set Vicki, those colours are very classy! I would never have thought to use acetate for an envelope but it's so pretty! I might have to borrow that idea ;)
